GN: Because I've been deposed since 1970 when I was a big man and I'm so pissed off and angry at the wold. Um, Joe, I met a couple times. Now I like Joe, but you know he blamed the world for those articles that exposed him, what appeared to be on the payroll with the republican party while he was a county chairman. Remember the articles about the election?

JG:   Yes, I do. The electrical, the no bid electrical things through the bridge commission. Correct.

GN: Yeah, I mean, you know most reasonable people read into that, that, uh. JG:   Yeah.

GN: Something like that. Tommy, I've known for a (i/a). I think he's a good

guy.

JG: He is a good guy.

GN: Tommy sat in this chair two weeks ago. We had a meeting. Joe Roberts commented on it and uh, I always got along with Tom. I just didn't think he could win in 1993 in the primary because he uh voted for the Florio tax increase that (i/a). It was that simple. If he ran and uh, I didn't know Cathy Cossner when we first ran her and I knew she was very popular although a kook. I knew she was popular and of course I'll never forget election night or the celebrating cause I saw on New Jersey network
